| Well, the school year has begun again. Chase started back Monday, July 28th, for a full week, and Gavin's first day of Kindergarten was today. Chase gave Gavin a lot of helpful hints to get his first day started off right, such as how fast they can jump out of the car in the carpool lane and which teachers are the funniest. It was great to watch them bond over this new connection they have. Gavin was determined to be independent of parents this morning. It was finally his turn to be dropped off at the carpool lane, and no way was any parent parking the car and walking him inside. We agreed to drop him off and then meet him inside. I even got the, "Oh Mom, you are embarrassing us with these pictures!" Ha!! And off they go to elementary school... |
